Interior Door Replacement in Meadowlakes

When a local landlord reached out to us for help with his long-term rental property, we at Weinland Maintenance LLC were more than ready to assist. The home, built in the early 80’s, was showing signs of wear and tear, particularly the Luaun veneer interior doors. One of the bathroom doors needed our interior door replacement service. Sourcing this older style door was a challenge, but we managed to special order it and even drove to Bertram to pick it up. The door was a slab door, requiring careful mortising for the hinges and latch plate, and a hole bored for the handleset. We also had to plane the door to fit the slightly narrower door jamb. The final hurdle was to match the stain of the new door slab to the existing doors. With the help of our local Sherwin Williams, we achieved a great stain match. After fitting the door and ensuring proper function, we stained and sealed the door. The result was a perfect match to the home’s older style and decor.
